Bob the Tomato pattern

Bob the Tomato from Veggietales
Created by Lyndee Pitiak

“If you like to talk to tomatoes…”

I was first introduced to Veggietales when my kids were almost too big for them, but we enjoyed watching the videos.  Fast forward to 2011 and my grandson absolutely loves watching the dvds.  So for his birthday (his first!), I just had to make him toys of his favorite characters (Bob, Larry and Jr.).

They are crocheted with a G hook and leftover worsted weight yarn from my stash, so I can’t give you yardage (sorry!).

Bob is about 4” in diameter
By the way, did you ever wonder why Bob is the “leader” of Veggietales?  I mean tomatoes are a fruit…

·         Partial skein of red worsted weight yarn
·         Small amounts of white, black & dark green worsted weight yarn
